Ooi Bee Hong received her Bachelor of Laws degree from the National University of Singapore and she was admitted and enrolled as an advocate and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore and the High Court of Malaya in 1987.

Bee Hong represents clients in a broad spectrum of corporate and commercial related transactions, with a particular emphasis on foreign direct investments in Malaysia. In the course of her more than 15 years practice, she has advised clients in connection with mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, commercial agreements, project development, company law, company incorporation and restructuring, real estate and regulatory matters. Bee Hong has represented buyers and sellers of companies, businesses and assets.

Bee Hong has contributed the Malaysian Chapter to the authorship efforts behind the book "Legal Guidance for Establishing Corporations in 40 Countries and Regions" (Chinese-English version) published by China Citic Press under the sponsorship of Lexis Nexis in 2008.

She has also presented a paper on "Carbon Emission Reduction Initiatives in Malaysia" at the Interlaw Asia Pacific Regional Conference in 2009.

Bee Hong is a committee member of (i) Domestic Trade Committee (ii) Investment & International Trade Committee and (iii) SME Development Committee under the auspices of the Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MICCI).
