Gek Im received her LLB (Hons) from the University of London in 2003 and was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2004. Gek Im was made Partner at our Penang office in January 2011.
Gek Im’s primary areas of practice in Penang Office are real estate, tenancy, financing, contract and corporate.
She has been involved in various housing and project development projects in Penang and has advised Developers on matters relating to the Housing Development Act and drafting of the Sale and Purchase Agreement and all other relevant documents in respect of housing and project development.
She has also counseled and drafted documents in respect of project finance, property finance, corporate banking and bridging finance such as debentures, assignment of project accounts, assignment of project proceeds, assignment of contract proceeds, and memorandum of deposits.
